Members of the RCPTA, led by the Coordinator of the Bodhi Pooja, Mrs. Lakshmi Samarasinghe held the annual Bodhi Pooja to invoke blessings on the members who are disabled and sick and also to pass merits on those members who are no more. A list of names of these members were read by Thummbowila Dhammarathana Thero.
Nayaka Thero of the Thimbirigasyaya Asokarama Temple gave an anusasana pointing out the importance of invoking blessings on the sick members and those who are no more. Thumbowila Dhammarathana Thero and Pattiyaloka Chandanana Thero both who were on the Staff of Royal College, Colombo, and now members of the RCPTA chanted pirith to invoke blessings on the members.
Mrs. Lakshmi Samarasinghe did a wonderful job with the help of the other members in organizing this event.
