Fund Raising Project for 2025 – “Rajakapuru”
Biannually the RCPTA will engage in a fund-raising project to enhance the capital accumulated in the medical fund with the hope of helping our members for medical care, recreational activities and the overall well being of the RCPTA members. Additionally, a death donation is provided to each member’s family including their spouse. These efforts require financial support.
Grateful Old Royalists and well wishers whenever they can have contributed to this worthy cause whenever they feel it is right to do so. Interest from the fixed deposits also contribute for this. As a relief measure biannually the RCPTA organize a fund-raising project to enhance the medical fund.
This year 2025 on the 26th of July the committee decided to stage a drama as our fund raiser. We are thankful to our very own member Mrs. Rathna Lalani Jayakody who arranged the stage drama directed and produced by Mr.Janak Premalal. We are thankful to him for doing this at a very concessionary rate without even charging for the refreshments for those taking part in the drama. The support given by the committee and the general membership must be appreciated for helping in the sale of tickets and those who came to enjoy the drama for the encouragement given to the actors.
Our thanks go out to the Principal Mr. Athula Wijewardana and the other school officials and also the donors and the organizing committee, who made this event a great success by contributing in their own way to enhance our medical fund.
