RCPTA - Annual Alms Giving 2025
Annual Bodhi Pooja of the RCPTA to invoke blessings on the members who are sick and unable to participate in the activities of the RCPTA and the general membership and also to pass merits on the dear departed members of the RCPTA was held at the Asokaramaya Temple in Thimbirigasyaya on the 15th of March 2026. Mrs. Lakshmi Samarasinghe coordinated the event.
All the necessary items for the bodhi pooja was brought by the members including three Ata Pirikaras and a large amount of Sesu Pirikara was also offered to the three priests, including the Head Priest of Asokaramaya, and two of our staff member priests, Ven Pattiyawala Chandaloka Thero who always participate in the Bodhi pooja travelling all the way from his temple in Meegoda. A Panwaeedma was also done to invoke blessings on the departed members.
