Social Service Project of the RCPTA - 2024 Appeal for Help
The project planned for this year is to provide a tube well for drinking purposes for the children of Hettikanda Vidyalaya in the Ratnapura District. The project is planned to be held during the first two weeks of July 2024. The exact date is yet to be decided due to the prevailing weather conditions as the site for the tube well has to be tested to decide on the best place.At the moment these children drink from a spring coming from the mountains which dries up during the drought season. A water tank is planned to be fixed connected to this tube well.
The organizers appeal to well-wishers, old Royalists and parents to come forward to help for this meritorious project. The cost of the project is estimated to be around Rs. 600,000/-.
